Idk why anyone would be stanning for Russia of the modern day, theres no socialism or communism to be found there after the fall of the USSR.. (not that the USSR was the most progressive place to begin with but eh)
They're not, they just don't think we should be giving weapons to another fascist state to prolong the billionaire's war.
The libs don't actually want to contend with conflicting view points so they just tell people what their opposition thinks.
Who do you think started the war, presumably you think Ukraine started the war which is odd because I don't know how you would categorize them as billionaires.
In order of responsibilty: Russia's government when they invaded thinking they could just parade into Kiev and be welcomed as liberators, America's government, when we supported a coup in Ukraine and didn't leverage Ukraine to purge the military of nazis or just enforce minsk II, Ukraine's government, when they refused to negotiate peace, apparently holding dominion over the Russian-speaking lands is more important than the millions displaced, wounded, or killed in the last 4 years.
Both Putin and Zelenskyy are billionaires. Both Russia and Ukraine are bourgeois "democracies". This is a war over whether Russian or western and Ukrainian billionaires will own everything in Ukraine and Russia. No workers freedom is going to be won here.
All of Ukraine's state assets were already sold off to the west for pennies and Russia seized whatever it wanted in the territory it holds.
We are not sending weapons to help the Ukrainian people.
Ukraine is prepared to negotiate with Russia they've said so many times, but Russia always violates the temporary ceasefire.
They said they wouldn't cede any territory, including Crimea. If you take any possible concessions off the table, you are not open to negotiation.
