And Friedrich Engels was bourgeoisie and part of the owner class. Still he contributed a lot to socialist ideas, especially by financing Karl Marx and later after Marx death editing his writing to produce the later parts of Das Kapital.
Now I'm not saying that Swift is like Engels, but letting the birth circumstances dictate the opinion about somebody is not what leftists should do, it's the enemies way of acting. Judge somebody by their acts, not their birth.
Coping. That comparison is absolutely nuts.
He literally says Swift is not like Engels you. The comparison was made to say that actions matter more than the background, but that flew right over your head didn't it.
Swift is not acting very Engels like at all.
