I refuse to believe that you live in a locality where a Canadian tire exists, but the suppliers that supply Canadian tire also magically don't exist. It's because you're not actually talking in good faith, you're just a rude person

yet immediately jumped to the conclusion there must be "local" stores that I just don't patron because "coNVeniENce"

What suppliers? Chinese suppliers? oh yes I have access to those as well... Canadian tire RARELY carries anything local
