Last Friday he received a brief email notification from the U.S. consular office revoking his visa. The message made no reference to his social media activity.

They're just using him to push things further for their online propaganda machine. Besides terminally online conservatives and bots, the majority of the population has already forgotten about him. I haven't heard his name, even in passing, for weeks now. And even then most peoples reactions were just something like "yeah, that shit was crazy, right?" And that was about it.
