In a letter published Tuesday, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said too many resources are going toward climate change instead of issues like welfare and poverty.

Too many resources are going towards your class to do fuck all with besides to destroy the planet and make every living being suffer more and more as every day passes.

It's pretty clear that it's desirable to society that more resources go to both issues. There are billions of humans on our planet; we are capable of focusing on more than one issue at the same time.

Also financing climate change (mitigation/lowering ghg emissions) is financing welfare & battling poverty.

It's not like the rich will get hit by climate change.

They (billionaires) are just saying this to muddy the waters & stop any efficient debate.

With their money that have a giant platform & reach, which they just use for villain-level selfish reasons.
