I’m sure they remember but the thing is from their point of view they weren’t using facts and true observations to cast Biden in a negative light.

They were just saying whatever they needed to, to get into power.

Now they are just saying whatever they need to stay in power.

The fact that what they said about Biden was “true” (acknowledging that the economy probably wasn’t his doing at that point) is just a lucky break for them.
