They aren't really anymore.

People are pointing out that the Amherstburg plant is being shuttered, but let's be clear: Crown Royal has been owned by Diago, a London-based megacorp, since 2000.

It's a quarter century since it has actually been a Canadian company.

Their Rye is actually pretty decent, at least when I had it a few years ago.
