What can I say? Libs gonna Lib.
No, not really. Giving legal exemptions to businesses is solidly in the right wing, keep the rich getting richer, play book. Canada has no liberal party, we don't even have a left leaning one at this point with the NDP backing some very anti-citizen policy.
I mean capital "L" Liberals are still pro-capitalism so they are still pro-corporations. Their policies are what contributed to the cost of living and housing crises across the world today. By all intents and purposes, the Liberal Party is right wing.
I didn't know about that. It seems to be the problem with many leftist parties is catering too much to the right.
