i used to think i enjoyed surfing sites for the best files but it really is nicer letting the Arrs do it for you
Browse to discover, arr's for the actual lift.
Pretty easy to setup quality filters as long as the sites you're downloading from have releases with proper filenames to identify exactly what codec/audio/etc the release is.

Any good resources for finding IPTV providers? Whenever I search everything feels like a scam.
Theres usa tv plugin, im not into sports, not sure how good it is

A btguard VPN.
Transmission for the torrent client.
1337x.to to search.
I’m sure that’s not the latest, hippest setup, but it works for me.
Is that still an ok flow? Should I change anything? I’m old and set in my ways.
Transmission kinda meh, in my testing. I would suggest using qbittorent, unless you hate Qt.
Does qbittoreent have a docker container/webui like transmission does?
Yep, there a server version and web ui from it. Alto, for both programs I prefer to use auto-download of torrents from folder.

Honestly still fine. There's some niche things you won't find on 1337x but it's rare.
Jellyfin. Radarr. Sonarr. Big HDD.
It's like Kaleidescape but for poor people.

Although I would highly recommend automating it with https://github.com/raydak-labs/configarr
I started with things like Audiogalaxy, then moved on to kazaa. Oh man, then DC++ in college. Those were the days.
If you miss DC++, nicotine (part of Soulseek network) is still great, it's got some quirky and weird users you can avoid pretty easily but the files are good
Torrents still work, though I definitely need to update my tracker list.
