To be honest: I'm glad Netflix got WB and Discovery is now a "free" compamy. The other option was was WB & Discovery going to Paramount... What would be bad about WB & Discovery going to Paramaount you ask? Paramount is in the hands of David Ellison, son of Berry Ellison who is a suporter of Donald Trump & his faschist ideals. Why would this be bad? Because quite a lot of important outlets such as CNN belong to Discovery. This would just give Trump & his fascho-friends more power to influence media.
I think Paramount is in the process of a hostile takeover of WB Discovery, and Kushner is involved, so they'll probably get it, IMO. I think the fascists really want CNN at least.
Glad is definitely more positive than I'd put it. More like it's the least bad option in a world that is predicated on market consolidation
