Isn't there enough nicotine in a cigarette to kill a non-smoker if eaten?
No. But it will make you rather queasy.
I found it eased my belly to consume the cigarette followed by a couple glasses of V8 juice.
This is all I could think of...

Now if only they would take theory into practice, but take THC and the other fun ingredients from weed and put the happy buzz chemicals into apples..
That would surely put a whole new twist on the idea of giving the teacher an apple...

The mexicans and canadians put clam sweat into it and call it clamato and I just think it's all the more reason to build two walls.

Well, if that's in any way true, then they must not do that here in the USA, as I'm allergic to shellfish, but have never had a problem with V8.
They do, it's just a different product. You'd know if you had a can of clamato vs normal V8.
Clamato is horrid.
Not even remotely close to it. Cigarettes have 10-12mg of nicotine and the LD50 for ingestion is around 6-13mg/kg.
And that's assuming that the nicotine in tobacco is as bioavailable as pure nicotine.

Nah, not really. Sure it might make a non-smoker feel worse while it goes through them, one eaten cigarette isn't gonna kill an adult.
Now if it was the amount of nicotine out of an entire 20 pack, or someone being stupid enough to suck/chew on a daily nicotine patch, well that would be a different story.. ๐
If one does happen to have intestinal worms, well I think eating a cigarette is by far the lesser of the two discomforting evils...
No, the factoid is that there's enough nicotine in a single cigarette to kill you, if all of that nicotine got past your blood-brain barrier at once. Since that's more or less an impossibility, don't worry about eating one.
Wikipedia says the lethal dose is estimated to be 6.5 to 13 mg / kg of body weight. Following that, a cig couldn't possibly kill you. Probably not even when injected into a vein
Iโm pretty sure you would die if I injected a cigarette into your vein.
I think if you made a tea to concentrate the nicotine it'd do it. That's how I've heard it used as a poison.
