I'd definitely argue the local church bells here are WAY worse than your typical muslim prayer call. They have some problem with the bells they don't seem to bother to fix, so they'll randomly ring around midday with agonizing, full force cacophony that can last over 5 minutes. It's not music in any form and it's so loud you can hear it even indoors far away, I call it the bells of hell
