Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

What's to disbelieve?
You think the picture wasn't taken a week ago?
No, I dont believe he'e on death's door. He will probably live to be 100, because life isn't fair.
Well, frankly him dying now, having avoided all real consequences his entire miserable life, having contributed nothing positive to planet earth, lying and raping his way all the way up to the highest office in the contry, is also not fair.
Life isn't fair, Your Highness. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something.
Get used to disappointment? (Wrong scene, I know)
Where did you see the article say that?
I don't understand any of your complaints, you might as well be complaining a gorilla can't play in the NFL....
Did you read the title?
...
To you, that headline, and a headline that says "trump is on death's door"...
Those, those are the same to you? You read both and think they say the same thing?
Don't get me wrong, Newsweek is shit, but that's not the problem here and the problem is much more concerning.
To be fair, they're talking about a major medical episode in the article. That does mean life-threatening to me.
Of course they mean the same thing, just to differing degrees. What else do you think the first headline is referring to?
...
They don't bud...
That's just, how language works
Ever heard of nuance?
You fucker, you made me give them a click
This is what passes for "Journalism" at Newsweek these days ....
A quote from a retired intelligencer pointing out the picture is a week old and lazy/bad propaganda...
Yes, that is literally what we describe with the word "journalism"...
This is literally like if Faux News said the sun was coming up tomorrow, so you scamper off to prepare for 1,000 days of darkness and the return of Baphomet.
Just because so one lies 90% of the time doesn't mean 100% of what they say is the opposite of truth.
You get that, right?
Because I'm about to quit trying.
Literally?
You probably think that the local news reading social media posts on air is "journalism" too....
It can be, depending on the subject matter, timing etc. Reddit had a big hand in the Boston Marathon bombers capture.
Only if you consider accusing a dead college student to be having a big hand.
The self-assigned “bias meter” at the bottom of the page is trash.
It defaults to hard left until you vote.
Still garbage, but not in the way people seem to think.
That’s worse than I imagined.
So?
