"Nothing more Christian than to be a hateful wretched fuck on Jesus’ birthday," quipped one critic.

He's on brand with the Christians I know. 24/7 hate and self centered hypocrisy. 0 knowledge or practice of the actual religion.

There's no hate like Christian love.

serious question, how do you figure a country actually evens begin to deprogram all these morons?

4-5 decades of proud ignorance/anti-intellectualism...especially as long as the murdoch empire stands strong...

I think its already started happening at a small scale. All the maga promises are failing to show up or deliver. There's no one else to blame except those in power, and right now that is entirely the GOP. I was talking to a farmer recently and they told me how bad prices are for the recent harvest. He said he doesn't want a fractional government handout from trump, he wants to sell his corn and soybeans. He talked about how bad its been since the tariffs went in. Everything to run the farm is more expensive, and the crop is selling for some if the lowest costs in years.

the farmer isnt generally political, they're a businessman. 9 times out of 10 they'll jusy vote for whoever promises the biggest handout (even if the people promising those handouts have lied to them dozens of times....)

those aint the people i mean, I'm talking about the 25-30% of the country that lives and breaths all thing Murdoch their entire day.
