While we fixed Medicaid and made it so that the poorest are covered with no costs, the same can't be said of Medicare, from what I have seen.
So even if they made it that far... Could they even afford it?
I'd love someone to show me that I am wrong. My mother makes barely $1300 a month from her social security and a lot of that money goes to paying Medicare costs. Even with the "Extra Help" program.
