BTW: Nobody cries after Maduro. He was objectively evil, and no matter what American puppet is going to replace him, this will benefit Venezuelan people.
As opposed to the rest of his regime? The current leader of Venezuela seems to be literally Maduro's vice president. Even if the US government can now demand whatever they want from the Venezolanian government, "be nicer to your population" is probably not going to be part of that.
Actually maybe it is. Trump wants oil. You need bare minimum stability to run oil extraction operations.
Violent oppression usually does the trick as long as you keep paying your police and soldiers, and the Trump admin doesn't seem like the type to deviate from that.
Maduro won elections in landslide and has mass support of the working class. Don't believe Western media, which is controlled by the same capitalists orchestrating this attack, ICE, and everything else. The US has been meddling in South America for 70+ years: coups, assassinations, color revolutions, embargoes, sanctions ... There is no reason to believe what they say about Maduro.
It emboldens him to go even further like Mexico, Greenland and Canada. I hope the people of Venezuela get a good leader. They sure deserve some peace and prosperity at this point.
My country tunisia was build by a dictator. A dictator can do a lot of evil things and still does many good thing or try to
