Legitimate point, that kind of applies to Lemmy here too. It's not helpful to just dunk on Americans for being Americans. To beat fascism, we need to be allies.

Ok but that's one little person, doesn't mean the entirety of the country feels that way. You are literally reverse painting us with the very same brush that you are accusing us of painting you with. Or something like that.

Look, it's pretty straight up. MAGA most of us disagree with. Their screamy supporters, most of us disagree with. Everyone else, can just keep on keeping on.

Nah man, I'm not attempting to paint us as anything, I'm just trying to remind us that we can be a bit ...touchy (can't blame us of course) and we should be gentle to our natural allies down south.
