My retirement plan was to go into the woods to die before i come too much of a burden for the rest around me. But then somebody reminded me that forests probably wont be a thing anymore until then. So even my slightly sarcastic but very dystopian plan for retirement wont work out.
In Germany we have organic waste bins. I think I'll just climb in one of them and close the lid

The plan was to do some geratric version of Luigi if things get bad. Nothing much to lose by then.
I've heard stuffing your pockets with coins and walking into the sea is a thing. The sea's not going anywhere and with the way things are going it's likely gonna get a little bigger.

Dirt-cheap, uh, dirt for the suicide on a budget then.
Sell tickets for people to watch you, an untrained amateur, fire yourself from a cannon. Go for a distance record and don't set anything to stop your fall.
Similar outcome, provides entertainment (not useless), you can have all the proceeds go into a trust that buys a house in a rich neighborhood, and then make it a safe haven for unhoused people.
This is my plan too, but I don’t have anyone around me to become a burden to.
So, I’m just gonna go die alone in the woods, for no other reason then I wanna die in the woods. Woods are pretty.
