I also have a shotgun in case plan a doesn't work out. Hopefully my future landlord enjoys cleaning up brain matter.

Your family will end up doing most of the cleaning. Your landlord will hire low wage people to do any remaining.

If I go that route anything of value will already be handed off to my family so they'd have no reason whatsoever to assist with cleanup. As for everyone else. If they don't want to do it don't take the job.
