Idk what you mean. The statistics back me up. Accidents are less than 1%.

For fatal gun injuries you're right, but about 50% of all non fatal gun injuries are caused unintentionally. There seems to be about 43k unintentional gun injuries per year(source). In comparison in total there are 47k gun deaths per year.

So yeah not negligible in the slightest, especially in a country without healthcare.

If so that's one of the few accurate things he's said, assuming one trusts the statistics from the FBI
