But why join BRICS over the EU? (asking because I don't know)
It makes more sense to shore up relations in the Western hemisphere than to go halfway around the world.
But can we not negotiate a mutually beneficial agreement with both? The EU and BRICS?
Maybe! Without the US meddling, anything is possible.
