That would require people doing more than protest. What would the circumstances be, where americans would do more than just protest?
That's a damn good question I really wish I had an answer to.
It might be worth meditating on.
Problem here is it's not me who needs to think on it, it's the unthinking who will refuse to.
Even one person can make a difference.

Canceled elections would do it, but only after the election itself.
Which would then lead to martial law.
