The union statement said Maria reported being followed for several blocks before being surrounded by the agents, who demanded she show them “papers.”

What, they're not even going to say, "papers, please"?

Agents smashed her window and pulled her out of the car, according to the union and Hernández. They threw her to the ground and then emptied her purse, the union statement said.

With the lawlessness we've seen out of ICE, solid chance they were trying to rob her, knowing an immigrant couldn't do anything about it

When they saw her passport, they just left, leaving her in need of medical attention, according to the union officials.

Pretty clear they did not have good intentions
