No, they don't. I love technology for its entertainment and educational benefits, but it's horrible that this kid is so familiar with screens that they don't understand you can't zoom a book. Screens don't allow one to feel textures, see depth, or manipulate objects in space, among other vital educational activities. Young brains need to be stimulated by real-world phenomena in order to develop properly. Our children deserve better.
