The relationship isn’t dead, it’s just going through a tough time right now. Half of Americans never voted for Trump and are appalled by all that’s happened. They’re poised to take their country back from all the MAGA insanity, starting with the midterms and over the next few years to follow.
Ah the ol' domestic abuser mindset.
We've changed! plzzzz come back and consoooom! we looooove you guys.
Nah we're good up here without you all.
Except the US is not one person. It’s a bunch of people, some of whom you can call abusers, others would better be called friends and family.
If someone in your family is in a relationship with an abuser do you abandon your family member to their fate with the abuser?
What does it matter? Four years later they'll swing back to someone even worse than Trump.
Maybe not “dead” but it is permanently broken.
Also, get the numbers right. Two thirds of Americans did nothing to keep Trump out of office.
The midterms have not happened yet. We will see.
I hope they can take their country back but the way I see it it's going to be long and bloody before they do. What has begun now cannot be fixed with elections (especially when they can be rigged).
The system is rotten to the core. An election can't fix it.
The relationship may not be dead, but it is never going to be as strong as it once was.
I bet there wont be midterms or any other elections anytime soon.
I suppose that’s one way to never be disappointed!
