Greentext
This is a place to share greentexts and witness the confounding life of Anon. If you're new to the Greentext community, think of it as a sort of zoo with Anon as the main attraction.
Be warned:
- Anon is often crazy.
- Anon is often depressed.
- Anon frequently shares thoughts that are immature, offensive, or incomprehensible.
If you find yourself getting angry (or god forbid, agreeing) with something Anon has said, you might be doing it wrong.
Don't forget the fake product listings
“Where the fuck did they find a cheaper “cummytown grand opening” corduroy t-shirt? No one makes those. We don’t even make those!”
Although, that would assume that companies don't already trend towards doing so

So a lot of online shopping sites have this whole programmed flow chart to influence shopping behavior, which can be gamed relatively easy. The easiest and most common is just to simply make sure your email is linked to the cart and abandon the cart. This will often lead to a deal on the specific item or a coupon for some amount off.
This has been taken to an entirely different level by people I presume were formally store couponers. There are entire friend groups, message boards, etc. that are just based on people employing these tricks and getting items for extremely cheap or even free shipped before the company realizes the issues.
