Epicurus was a Greek philosopher who preached and founded a new hedonistic philosophy, Epicureanism. He was famous for loving cheese and indulging in it once in a while, so he'd be very happy about cheese!

Yes, but what many people forget when they talk about hedonism is that while Epicurus described sensual pleasure as inherently conducive to happiness (in contrast to Aristotle, who placed meaningful work at the center), he simultaneously emphasized not becoming dependent on worldly needs.
