The Stupid Trump Disease consumes us all.

Got those letters the wrong way. It's TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, anyone who believes him at this point is insane.

[–] Soulphite@reddthat.com 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I love republicans made up derrangement syndromes for their insanely idiotic frontmen. They did it with G Dubyuh Bush, too. I for one am proud to have the derangement syndrome and hope for no cure.

In their case, "derangement" is the way that the Soviets would declare opposition to be "insane". Meaning, it's purely a political thing they've tried to weaponize against others.

Donvict says or does some crazy unhinged thing, and normal people comment on it, as normal people are prone to doing? The actually insane cult member declares they have "TDS".

Christians love it when people get sick with STDs

So cool that one dickhead has been granted the authority of a king. Just sets policies for the nation and everyone has to suffer.

[–] bagsy@lemmy.world 15 points 3 weeks ago

Its not just one dickhead, he just acts as a lightling rod for all the bad PR. This is a class war, the rich are consolidating power and stealing everything in sight. He is also enabled by the house and senate, they could end this anytime, but they choose not to.

The only way this ends is to remove or very greatly reduce the influece the rich have over our government. Its a hard problem, civilizations have been fighting this problem since roman times.

In the meantime, do everything you can to waste the time and money of rich people and large corporations. Once they have no money, they have no influence.

We can't rely on the courts to keep saving us from stupid legislation. This is a direct result of the big ugly bill.

They are making America great again at being a shithole country.

I’m pretty sure they’re trying to intentionally impoverish white people to induce high birth rates because they’re that racist, stupid, and evil

You almost get this right: populist regimes rely on poor people's votes because poor people tend to be less educated, and less educated people tend vote for populist candidates.

The Trump regime - but also the GOP in general - actively pursues policies that limit people's access to education because it's good for their electoral results - and having unwanted pregnancies, STDs, cervical cancers and spending all your money on healthcare most definitely prevent people from paying for college.

That is, until Trump and his goons rig, disrupt or plain suspend free elections altogether over some made-up reason, which I'm 100% certain they'll attempt to do for the mid-terms.

They don't just need votes. With the clear imperialist designs they have over the Western hemisphere, they want these people to have kids, lots of kids, because they know they're going to need bodies. The whole shit about Greenland and Canada and (probably) colonizing Venezuela, Cuba, and everywhere else in the Americas tells me they want a world war involving every country in the West.
