You have until Jan 28th to become a member of the NDP so you can vote for leadership.
It is $10 across most of Canada (25 in Ontario). If you don't get it before the 28th then you will not be allowed to vote for Avi or any other candidates. It is a ranked ballot, so you can put people in any order of your preference.
I'm really happy to see the NDP leadership race get a few people on mastodon. I don't like having to go over to bluesky or god-forbid twitter to see what they are up to.

The liberals and conservatives love enabling Elon Musk’s X.
I sent an email to CBC today complaining that they shared a post from Twitter, I will not call it X until Musk respects his daughter who is Trans, and told them they should push to use mastodon on a Canadian server.
Every provincial NDP also still has a presence on Twitter...

Emily Lowan has a great hashtag she's running called the #FightTheOligarchs tour and it's really well done. Never in a million years would I have expected a media game so smooth from the BC Greens.
Avi Lewis's account is pretty new, but honestly from what I'm setting, he could learn a thing or two from Lowan's feed.
I donated money to Avi. We need people like him over Carney and PP.

I joined NDP and I donated money to Avi Lewis's campaign.
I voted NDP my first time voting... I voted for Carney the second time... and never again.
I meant why Avi over the other NDP leadership options.
Because he contacted me first. Also I like him. At this point we need someone who actually wants actual fucking change for the people instead of this fucking con/lib shit.
