At least a couple of protesters were tackled to the ground and arrested before agents drove away from the crowd of at least 30 protesters and observers, some of whom were coughing or vomiting from the smoke, according to witnesses.

Observers took images of a loaded rifle magazine that an agent dropped in the snow and left behind. The magazine was reported and later recovered by the Minneapolis Police Department, a department spokesperson confirmed.

Luhmann took video of one of the empty smoke canisters, which is labeled as “pocket tactical green smoke,” made by the company Defense Technology. The back states that it should be used only by “trained law enforcement, correctional or military personnel.”

Below that, it states that anyone using the canister “should be trained in deployment, decontamination and first aid procedures.”

Defense Technology's domestic sales contact info in Casper Wyoming.

If you feel like it, maybe give them a call on Monday at (307) 235-2136 and let them know their products are being used in violation of their company's recommended warnings by terrorists who are murdering American men and women for sport.

Defense Technology was previously part of Safariland, a company with the slogan "Together, We Save Lives®" 🙃

After use of tear gas at protests following George Floyd's murder, Safariland allegedly "divested" their Defense Technology holdings. However an Intercept report in 2022 found that Safariland CEO Warren Kanders was still profiting from his company's sales of tear gas because Defense Technology and Safariland are both registered as subsidiaries of Kanders' company Cadre Holdings (formerly known as Maui Acquisition), which describes itself as manufacturing and distributing safety products. 🙃

It's a real Red Ball Market Global situation, but luckily Cadre/Safariland president, Brad E. Williams, reports directly to Kanders, and according to the SEC .gov 2025 contract for Brad William's employment with Safariland/The Company/Cadre Holdings, he can be reached by email at williams.brade@gmail.com or brad.williams@safariland.com

Williams, previously the Company’s executive vice president and COO, will report to Warren B. Kanders, Chairman and CEO of the Maui Acquisition Corporation (now Cadre), Safariland’s parent company. Williams will have direct responsibility for all business units and corporate functions within The Safariland Group.

For sure they would be horrified if they knew about this right? Here they are with a registered trademark on saving lives and one of their subsidiaries is doing business with Border Patrol/ICE while they're just murdering away innocent Americans. I'm sure Williams and Kanders would be interested in hearing feedback as well. Or, maybe they could at least point people in the right direction of who we should complain to instead regarding their "associate"/global team member, Defense Technology, doing business with the people murdering Americans in cold blood and providing them with tear gas dyed green to promote psychological warfare against protestors?

Or, at the very least maybe Williams can just pass the information on to Kanders or any of the many brands and affiliates of Cadre who manufacture and distribute products for global safety.

Or, more recent ventures involving Trump contracts and Nuclear cleanup. December 2025: Meet The Former Banker Who Is Now A Private Defense Billionaire

Warren Kanders’ Cadre, which makes body armor and bomb suits, has gotten a boost from Trump’s defense spending and Europe’s race to rearmament. Now it’s preparing for the war on nuclear cleanup.

So again, probably best to contact President Brad Williams directly at williams.brade@gmail.com but still try to be courteous because he's just a cog in a machine. Or try his Safariland email brad.williams@safariland.com
