Was there another president who polled as worse than two different immediately previous presidents? He could have just had people saying Obama was better, but no, he had to run a third time, and now (all the best) people are saying Obama and Biden were better than him.

I hope he cries himself to sleep on his gold polyester pillow.

Polls lie. Make sure you vote.

We should be voting with guillotines. We should be giving “hanging chads” new meaning.

The media is fully captured by the rightist ruling class, capturing the soap box and ballot box. They have packed the courts with traitorous loyalists, depriving us of the jury box. Only one box is left.

Next elections would still be

One side - 306 (49.7% vote)

Other side - 232 (48.6% vote)

and you can do nothing to change this. I can bet on this

What next elections?

Haven't you heard? The Orange Utan and his fat tramp friend Bannon have already announced that they'll deploy ~~the SS~~ ICE at polling stations. As if nobody saw that one coming even before Trump inexplicably won the vote in 2024...

Trump is worse than himself. If there was a competition for "evilest man in earth" he'd be disqualified for lying about cheating at cheating only to land in 5th place.

Biden was a fine president.

I’m stupid, can someone help me understand how we calculate the 18 point swing?

Just after Trump was inaugurated last February, the result was 58 percent saying Trump was doing a better job than Biden

But in the new poll, 51 percent said Trump is doing a worse job than President Biden did — a net swing of 18 points

2025 poll 58% say Trump > Biden

2026 poll 49% say Trump > Biden (aka 100 - 51)

58-49 = 9 point swing?

Always good to see you can judge if someone is killing it at work right after he started. Why do companies need these probation periods??

Now check this against anything that matters. Guarantee you that at the end of the day, this means nothing at all.

People don’t like Trump. This won’t make a bit of difference to what he does, thinks, or feels.

These are just depressing numbers considering what is happening daily around here:

But in the new poll, 51 percent said Trump is doing a worse job than President Biden did — a net swing of 18 points. From the pollster’s memo:

49% of voters, a plurality, say Trump’s policies thus far have set America on a worse path. 49% say Trump is doing a better job than Biden (-4).

MORE VOTERS ATTRIBUTE ECONOMY TO TRUMP OVER BIDEN

63% of voters say the current state of the economy is mostly due to the Trump administration rather than Biden (+11). 53% say it is worse than it was when Biden was president.

56% of voters say the economy is shrinking, and 66% say inflation is above 3% (-5), including a majority across political parties.

The good news for Trump, although it’s unlikely to ease the pain, is that out of 22 stated policies, 15 of them still enjoy majority support.

He is worse than Buchanan or Johnson. He’s on par with Jefferson Davis, Mussolini, Kim Jong Un, and Vladimir Putin.

[–] HootinNHollerin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 7 months ago

Way fucking worse jfc

Yet still the hemmoroid remains. 🙄🙄🙄 he should be impeached, convicted and removed from power then all his admin charged, prosecuted and imprisoned. Anything less is appeasing fascism.

All these polls are the same: "Some Americans are feeling unsure of Trump's god status and worry about the ecomony".

It's my firmly held belief that the majority of Americans are uneducated idiots.
