Well I mean here we have Alberta, who has gone all in on a dying industry. That neither loves it back nor is ever stable. At the costs of any sort of possibilities in diversifying away from it. Why innovate when you can double down on a sure thing? That sure thing being what's probably the most cyclical and volatile natural resource known to man.

North America has an innovation problem that's long been wrecked by venture capitalist and private equity scumbags, and greaseball self serving career politicians.
