Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Federal immigration authorities arrested a Columbia University student early Thursday, triggering protests on campus along with allegations that agents had entered the university-owned residence under false pretenses.

Just hours after detaining student Ellie Aghayeva, though, the federal government abruptly reversed course, permitting her to walk free after the apparent intervention by Donald Trump.

In a social media post Thursday afternoon, Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he expressed concerns about the arrest during an unrelated meeting with Trump, who then agreed to release her immediately.

Trump is a reflection of those that hold power in our society. It's why he is such a massive piece of shit. The wealthy rulers of this country are exactly who formed him.

Mamdani is just one of the first people that actually wants to improve that society for everyone. He has enough power and charisma to play to Trump's ego and does it well.

Exactly, Mamdani is goat for that reason

Also for the "ones in charge" its a 99% vs 1% situation (Realistically 97% vs 3%). The people working together and showing up to do wins every time from numbers alone mix in brainstorming and collaborating and it makes it way easier to win. Many people doing already but the more the better!!

Calling it now, Mandani has the pee tape.

C'mon, with the revelations from Epstein files the pee tape looks quite tame.

Anyway with how he looks at Mamdani he either is attracted (he sucked off Bubba after all, and Mamdani is attractive looking) or through dementia he thinks Mamdani is a Saudi Prince ready to bribe him.

I always assumed the pee tape involved underage girls, so is probably in the Epstein files.

And again, with the revelations is quite tame. There's that whole Lake Michigan thing.
