There used to be sites where people did just that. They've shut down their comment sections because of bots. Also, you can find them by searching for that particular topic because spammy sites with better SEO drown it out.

I hate what the internet has become.

Everything corpos and money touches will enshittify the same way. Books went from serious stuff to ads and glossy magazines. Radio from serious broadcasts to ad ridden pop. TV went to reality programs and infomercials. The phone from communication to getting calls from marketeers.

There are still many great blogs but yeah it is hard to find them. And without real traffic, incentives are low to continue writing…

For those that use WordPress, maybe people can (politely) poke the site owner to enable ActivityPub integration? Might help with traffic at least.

I can't tell if the author is ignorant or really think "posting knowledge" to social media isn't just handing it to AIs...

Like they even take a break in the article to defend people who take low paying jobs training AI and that how it's actually a good deal for people who don't have a job.

It's like when a 9 year old learns what reverse psychology is and does a shit job at it.

Everything the author said just gets AI free or cheap training.

The article is poorly written, almost reads as if written by AI in fact.

I am generally in favor of open data sharing but yeah, it's not exactly a tool against AI.
