Remember back when the crypto bros and metaverse were the big hype train and the techbros were bombarding us non stop: "If you don't use our useless product enjoy being poor"?
The "real" fun subtext here is in how desperate Cain actually is to be liked. And he also comes at it from all the wrong angles and with strong "no, it's the kids who are wrong" energy when things don't play out as expected.
