I'd much prefer seeing Trump loose face. Even if that's more expensive for me.
If it's military assistance, fuck that and I'll be speaking up.
If it's defensive of our NATO allies only (excluding the USA and Turkey), as in money for defense, sending defensive weapons, etc, then go nuts, that's what NATO is for.
I think the second is what they had in mind. It's kind of the same thing France and some other countries released the other day. We won't help Trump, but we'll help secure our assets and allies.
