The FBI used facial recognition technology to place Taylor at the scene of the unrest. She admitted on Jan. 19 to being at the scene of the protest and to witnessing the government vehicles being broken into. Taylor, who originally contacted the FBI tip line to provide information, said that although she was present during the break-in of the vehicles, she did not damage the vehicles or take anything from the scene.

However, the video given to law enforcement captured her taking ammunition from the lockbox of one agent’s vehicle with Johnson at her side.
