All other considerations aside "Thiel-backed" guarantees all by itself that it's technofascist bullshit explicitly intended to benefit the oligarchs at the expense of everyone else.

Absolutely. Thiel-backed is a red flag hoisted on a flagpole whose tip reaches just below the ISS, whose width is at least 1000 football fields long, which is illuminated at all times by 5000 spotlights, and which is simultaneously and counterintuitively on fire despite the lack of oxygen at that altitude.

The flag is a dumpster, and is on fire.

LLMs cannot make decisions or judgements. They're word probability engines. Thiel is a psychopathic liar actively trying to monopolize the surveillance state.

It’s one step beyond monitoring. The mega rich want to control AI because they can train them to say whatever they want without question.

They want to shape the world around them. Ask an AI about Tiananmen in china. The west is no different, they are going to try to shape how generations develop (or don’t) their critical thinking skills.

Even if you were somehow able to overcome the "can" question, the far more meaningful question is "will it do so fairly", and it's absolutely certain it will not. If you agree the problem of the justice system is that rich people own it, this is not the solution to that problem. This literally is that problem.

I’m going to start my own system where my home brew LLM decides if tech bros are pieces of shit. Only $5k a pop

That would actually be impressive technology. Please do carry on. :)
