RELATED COMMUNITIES:
"Linda Lost a Lover" by I forget who and don't care. Near violent hatred, so glad it almost never gets played anymore.
Also "Annie's Song" (John Denver), sounds like uninspired 'I need a song' spam. But my late wife liked it, so I was glad she found something in it.
Empire State of Mind by JayZ
Got My Mind Set on You
Pharrell Williams - Happy, this song makes me immediately angry. Idk if this says more about me or the song hehe
The only way I can tolerate this song is if it's the Neus Remix
I'm into it. Always felt like the pace of the original was too frantic to sell the idea of unshakable good vibes. Make it saunter, and it comes across way less forced.
I missed out on the hype train behind that song somehow, and heard it for the first time years later and was pretty impressed by it.
Though the "room without a roof" line irks me, because having experienced it, nothing could make me less happy
I have always hated that song from Cher, "do you believe in life after love" since the very first time I heard it. I can't explain it, I just always fucking hated that song and the sounds of her voice in it.
I hated it because south park mocked it and I was young and impressionable. It was also overplayed a lot on the radio.
Listening to it years later though, in the context of losing Sonny, I don't know it's a pretty powerful song
Have you seen the video, though? It's about Cher eating a younger person and becoming them. Lizad people confirmed!
Dance Monkey. It used to play several times a day, every day of the week, on the store radio in the place I used to work. Ugh
Wonderwall or anything by Oasis, makes me wanna vomit
I once saw a busker in my town. He started playing what sounded like Fade Into You by Mazzy Star. It was never really popular in the UK, so it was unusual to hear. I also quite like the song so I hung about a bit to see how a gruff looking middle-aged man would sing it.
Turned out he was just playing Wonderwall really badly.
"I just called you say I love you". I absolutely hate that looping melody.
I do not care for Will Wood
basically everything by Flo Rida that isn’t Low. I can't stand any of his songs except the apple bottom jeans
anything from Billie Eilish - I hate that barely audible "singing" style, like someone mumbling the lyrics of a half-remembered song under their nose while doing housework
Put Me In Coach. Can't bother to look up the band but it's the worst.
I know this one, unfortunately. 😅 "Centerfield" by John Fogerty, former frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival.
