Best Comic in my opinion! I like reading Calvin and Hobbes because it reminds you what it was like as a kid back in the day.
Loved this comic as a child, and I still do as an adult.

Definitely my favorite comic strip as well. Made me want to be outside as a kid, exploring the woods by our house. All the anthologies are worth getting. The full page, hand-watercolored Sunday editions are worth the price of admission alone.
That coupled with a few drinks can turn worlds. Not that it applies to Calvin, but you get me.
And yes, a little unsupervised recreation with only your word to return home relatively on time resulted in some fond memories.
