just start being honest. go long. describe your latest bowel movement in detail. they'll stop asking eventually.

"How's your day going?"

"Well, I spend 11 hours away from home every day to come here where you guys pay me for 8. How do you think it's going?"

If you must, Canadiens seem to have a solid go to.

In all conversations, let’s please switch to something like, “greetings,” rather than the disingenuous, “how’s it going?” or “how’re you doing ?” I hate answering “fine” and I don’t feel like “asking” in reply.

I usually answer "same as usual".

People who don't know/care assume that means fine.
