haven’t seen any issues yet on ios? using the reddit site with sink it for reddit and it’s been fine so far, albeit slow with a vpn at times
This app has been going to shit but the fact that they shut Apollo down and permabanned me for criticizing the USA government sealed the deal
It's a shame that reddit got more restrictive with his api...
Before you could use third-party clients without problems, apart from that the app is a complete trash

Oh no. Guess I will continue to not go to that enshittified dumpster fire of a website.
Can you use the app without a login? It would suck to not be able to access twenty years of troubleshooting help for everything.
The last time I checked was a couple months ago, and you couldn’t access it without logging in, or if your account is banned. (And, as far as I know, they’re still permabanning accounts at random in massive waves.) So, unless that’s all changed, you can’t.
Only way I can look stuff up on there now is with an app called RDX for Reddit.
I love this for them.

They're still doing it? When I accidentally click a reddit link I don't get the paywall anymore.
Or maybe they saw that it was a 100% bounce rate from me and then reverted the behavior (like a cookie with a counter, after 20 bounces don't show the paywall anymore?)
