Is it okay to show up uninvited to a wedding? Why was the bride surprised unless she invited him? And if he wasn't invited how did he know about the wedding and where it was and what time it was? I clearly have so many questions.

At least in some countries, weddings legally have to be an open invitation. The idea is anyone who has an objection needs to be able to bring it.
