A good general rule of thumb: if someone is telling you about the end of the world and asking for money at the same time, they're a con artist. True especially for cults/religions & corporations.

I mean, sure. But why would that matter for their IPO. We're not all leaving the planet on their rockets, and if the people they're trying to sell to aren't on the rockets, they're just going to die anyway and the universe will be perfectly fine without humans just like before humans.

The tech SpaceX is using isn't even close to viable for a mass exodus.

~Its not for mass exodus.~

BTW I highly recommend the Ben Elton book 'Stark'. Written in the 90s and set in the 80s, it is wierdly prophetic.

Right. It's for making money.

SpaceX should be nationalized. It's already been paid for entirely with taxpayer dollars.

Billionaires are speed running the destruction of a habitable planet, so yeah, it's right and it's doing everything it can to make it happen.

Let's crash a few more rockets, you know, so the prediction has better changes of coming true.

None of these people give a shit about protecting the environment or helping suffering people, they could care less what happens to earth, they see it as their trashcan.

uh huh. More BS from the guy who brought the world "full self driving" Teslas.

When is full self driving going to work, Elon?
