I'm firmly against separation, but I think we should go ahead and run the referendum with a neutral, understandable question, and prosecute any foreign interference severely during the run-up. Then these traitors can shut the fuck up and piss off to Trumpland where everything is roses and sunshine when it gets defeated handily.

Alberta isn't voting for separation, there's a small contingent of propagandized morons pumping themselves up in their echo chambers. Any polls will tell you that Albertans overwhelmingly want to stay in Canada.

Then these traitors can shut the fuck up

Except they won't.

No matter how hard they lose, they'll whine that it wasn't fair, that the other side cheated, that they are so mistreated and that they deserve to have infinite second chances to achieve their goal.

Traitors yes, but also criminals. We need to stop legitimizing criminal behaviour. Danielle and her friends are doing this for personal gain. Life sentences. Buh-bye.
