Sadly, I've been hoping for a Trump vs. GOP fight since 2015.
Oh it's happening all the time, it's just that it's never enough to topple the unholy thing.
First time I noticed was when the trials against him were still ongoing and it wasn't clear whether he'd run again.
But I'm sure it's happened before, e.g. during Covid.
And more recently wrt Epstein files, and that is still ongoing.
Unfortunately potus has so much power that - being ruthless enough - he can just fire whoever he disagrees with and keep only yes-people.
