Ah very good friend's grandfather has spent his later years capturing and then releasing rare butterflies in places that are inconvenient to real estate developers. He's an excellent human.
With this administration the only thing that would happen is that the aforementioned species would be dropped from federal protection.
Plus, you can use the elderberries and elderflowers to make things like wine, cordials, jam, etc. Everybody wins...except for the AI tech bros.
This is fun and I heard a similar story about bat houses around here.
I looked it up though and unfortunately that little beetle is only native to California. Elderberries rule though.
