After I moved, I can't find new friends :(

Obv every situation is different but if you want to find a new community the easiest way is to get involved somehow. Examples: volunteer at a food bank, find your local gaming store and check their events or start a new one, or heck get outside into green spaces if you have them and see what others are doing. It's gonna take practice but if you really want new friends there are ways!

Thank you for the helpful tips. Yeah it's weird, I get along great with the people I meet in my daily life, but I never think to ask for their numbers and I just keep it cordial. I don't know why I do that. But I admittedly have been isolating myself after losing contact with my best friend so that likely isn't helping either lol

If you keep going to the same things you can slowly befriend people at them

Asking people you just met or have only seen once for their contact info can be pretty awkward, but sometimes if the click is super good it isn't weird at all. If you've seen someone at least twice and had a positive interaction centered roughly around the same thing(s), it can be a lot easier to be like, "hey, any way I can keep in contact with you? Always good to have someone to talk about xyz with".
