About 60 miles in, the self-driving Tesla hit a metal girder lying in the road. It was a very visible piece of debris that the car’s cameras completely ignored. The driver, who goes by “Bearded Tesla Guy” on YouTube, only intervened at the last second, after the vehicle had already become briefly airborne. The suspension was wrecked, and the sway bar bracket was broken.

They actually went airborne lmao, i thought it was exaggerated. What a shitshow, thats a huge obstacle and it just completely missed it lmao.

The lack of response on the part of the driver as he sees the obstacle, because he's trusting some poorly made, lowest-cost bullshit in a Tesla with his life, is peak 2025 stupidity. Chef's kiss.

"Self driving". More like self going. Sometimes self crashing.
