I have a strong revulsion for hair in general, especially on my own body.
I cana respect the practical functionality, and of course I defend the autonomy of others.
Using broad strokes on trivial matters to label anyone who dislikes something without considering the nuances is a dick move.
I don't hate him but his foregin policy, especially the Iraq war, was in hindsight questionable to say the least.
Unshaven, trim the bikini area. I want something to run my fingers through. I love a woman that is womanly. Shaven is boring and childlike, it does nothing for me.
My policy is that if you want someone's mouth to go there, you should shave it. This applies to all genders and hair features pretty equally.
I would disagree with your policy. Bush is a beautiful thing. Not only does it provide stunning contrast that perfectly frames their natural beauty, but it also acts as a pheromone diffuser. I love to have my nose resting on a soft bed of perfectly perfumed pillow bush while enjoying a hot meal.
That being said, I am a vocal advocate of bodily autonomy so if they prefer no bush, that's never a problem, but my personal preference is au naturale.

Back in DVD days, a porn star could hit the road and tour a lot of strip clubs. She could sell a lot of merchandise and make herself well known. The problem was that a lot of these clubs were in small towns where the cops loved harassing the dancers. A lot of places had laws that said that visible pubic hair was illegal, so a lot of dancers shaved, and they encouraged the porn stars to do the same.
When the shaven ladies got back to shooting, they kept on shaving. Pretty soon that became the standard look in movies and magazines.
It's insane to me that the hair is what they had a problem with, and putting your genitals on even fuller display is the loophole.

Men are against hedges. However... a nice topiary can be appreciated.
I became sexually active in the early 1990s when the Brazilian look was big in porn, but most women still had full pubes, or if they were fancy, went for the French runway.
So my brain associated the shaved look with porn, and bush with IRL, which messed with my head on the occasion I had a partner who waxed herself clean.
My experience is that bush is easier to maintain and is easier on the skin. Shaving is fun for a single date, but results in a scratchy period and runs the risk of ingrown hairs.
Hard take for some, but it's true.
Why though? My best skill is cunnilingus but with a lot of hair I don't like it, with all the hair in my mouth and I find it unhygienic. Any idea how much bacteria stick to hair? If you want bush that's fine, but don't expect me to go down. I return the same courtesy.

If you're going down on a woman who has a full bush and you're not gagging on hair, you are not doing it enthusiastically enough. People who prefer shaved or a landing strip are objectively better at it, fuckin fight me
